After the successful launch of Greencoast in 2019, the school is planning its expansion soon. The primary objective – to increase its welcoming capacity for the next academic year starting in January, while offering a wider range of facilities and more spacious areas.
Being an essential project within the development plan of Beau Plan Smart City, Greencoast aims to offer an alternative and responsible educational program for preschool as well as primary level. The second phase, which should be operational by the end of September 2021, will contribute to the modernisation of the school, which currently welcomes around 160 students between 3 to 7 years old.
This project, which construction work began in November 2020, will occupy an additional surface area of 1,600 m2 . Far from the hustle and bustle of the big cities, located in the heart of luxuriant vegetation, this second phase will follow the same architectural specifications as the first phase – including natural ventilation. Also, certain construction work will be undertaken during the school holidays, so as not to disturb the day-to-day operations of the school and the students.
Since Greencoast is first and foremost a human-sized institution, it is the quality of the education that matters the most. Therefore, to strengthen the teaching team and the administrative department, recruitment campaigns have been planned. Furthermore, with an atypical educational model based on cultural diversity, tolerance, and discipline, the school can count on professionals trained in the latest teaching techniques, based on art and social sciences.
At Greencoast, each class is followed by two teachers so that the necessary attention and supervision is given to each student. A pedagogy which favours personal development through learning, interacting with one another, art and fun activities.
Greencoast’s new infrastructure projects:
- 1 art room
- 3 sports courts (volleyball, football, and basketball)
